IMAGene is a European project funded within the framework of the ERA-PerMed call «Multidisciplinary research projects on personalized medicine: development of clinical support lines for the implementation of personalized medicine». The consortium brings together 20 partners located in Europe with different areas of expertise and the common objective of developing, implementing and testing a comprehensive cancer risk prediction algorithm to predict pancreatic cancer in asymptomatic high risk subjects. Currently, pancreatic cancer is the lowest survival rate of all cancers in Europe, as there are no early detection strategies available.
